All Saints College, St Peter's Campus, Maitland, has a long and proud tradition educating children in the Catholic tradition dating back to 1838.


St Peter's is a Year 7-10 campus of All Saints College, a coeducational college serving the needs of the Greater Maitland community. St Peter's is dedicated to the development of the whole person within a structured and nurturing community. It achieves its mission by developing open and honest, Christ centred relationships. Students are regularly challenged on what it means to live out the gospel values and are involved in Social Justice and Service Learning activities to help inform and develop their Christian conscience. The core values of St Peter's are Respect, Honesty, Justice, Integrity, Truth, Self Discipline and Compassion.


The Pastoral Care model developed at St Peter's endeavours to equip students with the skills to respond to the numerous and complex challenges confronting young people and society in an ever changing world. The school community (staff, ministers, parents and parishioners) seeks to provide students with every opportunity to develop themselves physically, socially, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. All students participate in community days, based on the "Achieve" program that teaches proactive skills or "Habits of the Mind" including the foundations of  getting along, organisation, persistence and confidence, all underpinned by emotional resilience. Where a need for specific assistance is identified, St Peter's offers the services of a College Chaplain, Parent Support Worker, School Counsellors, Pastoral and Learning Support Coordinators and Careers Advisor.


Specific programs are arranged to suit the specific needs of our students. The approach to behaviour management at St Peter's is based on the principles of Restorative Justice. This means that we seek to help students learn from their mistakes and to reconcile and resolve problems with others. Students are regularly reminded of their responsibilities and rights embodied in the student code. They are also made aware of the support structures and people available to assist them if they feel that their rights have not been respected in the school community.


St Peter's is a committed learning community where unified visions, values and objectives are shared, and where all members of the school community are actively engaged in learning together from each other. Our learning community is comprised of students and teachers with diverse expertise, knowledge and experience. St Peter's promotes a culture of academic excellence and has achieved significantly in recent years at regional, state and national level in Science and Engineering Challenge, Debating, Eisteddfods, writing competitions, Music and Drama.


St Peter's also has a proud tradition in the sporting arena and representatives have achieved success at both a regional and state level in Rugby League, Netball, Soccer, Cricket, Touch, Rugby Union and Hockey.


St Peter's Campus, Maitland, accepts students from the areas of Beresfield, Dungog, Gresford, East Maitland, Kurri Kurri, and Maitland. The geographic boundary for Raymond Terrace is west of the Hunter River.


Students of St Peter's Campus, Maitland are encouraged to continue their Catholic education by attending St Mary's Campus, Maitland.

The CSO is pleased to announce that it will build two new high schools and extend two existing high schools, one of the single biggest developments to be made to Catholic education in the diocese's 180 year history. Read more.
