St Patrick's is a community that strive to create a loving, caring, compassionate and just environment where each child feels secure and happy. The school provide high quality, challenging and innovative educational activities that cater for the needs of all. St Patrick's build a sense of Catholic community through meaningful liturgy, prayer, symbols and rituals. The Eucharist is celebrated and promoted in school and parish. Opportunities for authentic and creative liturgical experiences involving students, staff and families are also provided.
Students of St Patrick's are also involved in activities related to social justice issues including a wonderful Mini Vinnies program run by the students. The staff, parents and students of St Patrick's form an educational community in the tradition of the order of the Sisters of St Joseph. It is a school steeped in rich traditional, Catholic values. The school operates an excellent Pastoral Care Program and encourage the children through the 'You Can Do It' program.
The school community of St Patrick's have recently completed the construction of 4 classrooms and a large school hall. Funds for this project were provided by the Building Education Revolution (BER) Project. The school boasts a very large playing area that is attractive and well maintained. St Patrick's also have excellent technological facilities including SMARTboards in every classroom and the 'Matthew Poulsen Learning Centre' - a well designed technology hub.
St Patrick's school has a strong foundation in Literacy and Numeracy. The excellent sports program includes representative and weekly sport. Apart from the normal music program, the school also have a school choir and school dance group. St Patrick's are responsive to the different needs of students and provide opportunities for all students to achieve excellence. Initiatives for encouraging high achievers in academic areas are also investigated.
St Patrick's also hosts an Out of School Hours Care facility, a Playgroup for young children and their mothers as well as a Pre-school that operates 2 days per week.
