This Autumn Vacation Care season, St Nicholas OOSH has a range of outdoor adventures, creative experiences and more on offer!
St Nicholas OOSH has services operating across the Hunter Region operating over the Easter School Holiday period to support families looking for affordable and reliable out-of-school-hours care for their children.
Here are some of the highlights coming up this Autumn Vacation Care:
- Drum Group – Children will take part in an interactive drumming experience, exploring different rhythmic patterns together. The facilitators will provide the drums and guide children through a fun, energetic session of music and rhythm.
- Dullboys – Get ready for a high-energy day at Dullboys Social Co! Enjoy a fun round of tenpin bowling with friends, take on the putt putt course and finish off with an afternoon of arcade games in this action-packed excursion.
- Newcastle Museum – Join us at Newcastle Museum to uncover fascinating stories of history that have shaped the Hunter Region and explore scientific phenomena. Perfect for those inquisitive OOSHies looking for a hands-on interactive experience.
- Science with Ranger Jamie – Get ready for a mind-blowing day of science fun! With slime-making, rocket launching, wild experiments, and exciting explosions, Ranger Jamie will show children just how amazing science can be.
- Reptiles on the Go – Get up close with all things scaly and slithery! Children will enjoy an exciting reptile show, learn fun facts, and even meet some cold-blooded creatures in this hands-on wildlife experience.
- Billy Kart Building – Dive into a hands‑on billy kart adventure, building your very own kart from the ground up. Once your masterpiece is ready, the real fun begins as you zoom, race, and proudly show off your creations — a perfect mix of creativity, teamwork, and thrilling outdoor action.
- Evolution Archery – The excitement of archery combined with the fun of dodgeball and tag! Join us for a morning of adrenalin filled fun, run by a qualified instructor. A dynamic experience for all ages that fosters teamwork -while keeping everyone on their toes!
- Muggle Magic – Put on your wizard robes & practice your spells, because today is all about Muggle Magic! Potion classes with colour change, bouncing sand & unicorn slime. Today is all about magical fun & accidental learning to inspire a love of science.
- Bricks 4 Kidz – Get building with Bricks 4 Kidz! Children will explore STEM concepts through fun, hands-on LEGO® experiences—designing, constructing, and creating their own awesome brick masterpieces.
- Fighter World – Join us as we head to Fighter World at Williamtown for an exciting day of plane watching and learning about military aircraft. Children will view authentic fighter jets, explore interactive displays and watch aircraft take off and land.
