In providing a seamless education pathway for students, Catholic Schools is committed to offering families *greater priority enrolment, making the transition from early education to primary – and primary to Catholic secondary schools – seamless.
This means that:
- parents looking to enrol their child within a Catholic Primary School and,
- parents looking to enrol their child within a Catholic secondary schools
are able to be part of a bigger educational community.
*Subject to the Catholic Schools of Maitland-Newcastle’s Enrolment Policy and the availability of places at your preferred school.
Enrolment prioritisation at Catholic secondary schools are based on the following principles:
- Students currently enrolled in a CDMN Catholic primary school
- Siblings of students currently enrolled in the Catholic secondary schools
- Catholic Families from non-pathway schools
- Families of other Christian denominations living within the schools catchment area
- Other families living within the schools catchment area
