Beanie and Jersey Fundraiser for the Mark Hughes Foundation

29th June, 2026

On Friday 26 June the St Patrick’s Primary School, Swansea community came together for a wonderful Beanie and Jersey Fundraiser in support of the Mark Hughes Foundation. Year 2 student Hendrix Schmidt must be congratulated for his outstanding leadership, enthusiasm and organisation to help make the day such a success.
Hendrix played a key role in bringing together a fantastic range of activities, including a huge raffle, exciting sporting activities and a very special visit from guest speaker Danny Buderus, whose inspirational message was enjoyed by students, parents and staff alike.
Hendrix’s initiative, confidence and commitment to supporting such an important cause was truly impressive. He has demonstrated the power of student leadership and shown how one young person can make a positive difference in the community.
The St Patrick’s Swansea community raised awareness and funds of $3,265.15 for the important work of the Mark Hughes Foundation. Well done, Hendrix, on your exceptional leadership and for making the day a memorable and meaningful event for everyone.
