Creativity on Display at St Therese's, New Lambton Art Trail

15th September, 2026

There was plenty of colour, creativity and community spirit on show at St Therese’s Primary School, New Lambton’s recent Art Trail, with students, families and staff coming together for an afternoon of art and celebration.

Held twice a year, the Art Trail is a much-loved event that celebrates the creativity of St Therese’s students.
Inspired by the diocesan theme “A Home for All”, this year’s artworks took on a colourful Pop Art style, with students creating pieces that explored what “A Home for All”

The exhibition was brought to life with the support of parent volunteers Odette Tonkin and Zoe Meere, whose creative ideas and dedication helped students develop and showcase their work. Together, they transformed the school into a vibrant display of student creativity.

A standout feature of the exhibition was a collaborative Year 6 art installation with a music theme. This special piece will remain in the McAuley Courtyard garden, creating a lasting legacy for the graduating students and a colourful addition to our school grounds.

Families enjoyed a relaxed and festive atmosphere, complete with live entertainment from our talented Band Leader, Howard Ward, as well as delicious pizza and gelato. With sunshine overhead and smiling faces all around, it was the perfect setting to celebrate our students’ creativity.
