Twins Hannah and Eddie Tiedeman have been counting down the days until they walk through the gates of their first school and yesterday was the day!
Talking in sync, the five-year-olds said they were feeling good about starting big school at St James’ Primary School in Kotara South on Wednesday, February 4.
“I’m so excited for big school,” Hannah said.
The twins are joining their older brother in year 2 at the local Catholic school for what they hoped was a year full of playing together.
Eddie said he thought they would get play and make bracelets and draw and Hannah wanted to make Loom Band bracelets.
Their mother, Erin Tiedeman, said she felt they were ready to start school.
“It is a bit emotional too because they are our babies,” she said.
“They are very keen we have had a countdown of how many days until they get to go to school.”
Ms Tiedeman they were prepared for the week ahead and had the lunchbox contents all ready.
“They have a good network of friends starting, and they know a lot of kids through their older brother,” she said.
We hope all Kindergarteners had a great first day yesterday
