St James’ Primary School, Kotara South, has taken first place in eight categories and second in two categories at the Abermain Eisteddfod held at St Phillip’s Christian College at Nulkaba in late August.
Running since 1917, the Abermain Eisteddfod is the longest-running eisteddfod in NSW and includes entries from schools across the state. This talented vocal group performed pieces across eight categories, including Hymns and sacred singing, Folk Song, Junior and Senior Choirs and Infants and Primary Musical Theatre.
