Earlier this week St Paul’s Catholic College, Booragul proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week 2026 – 50 Years of Deadly.
The day began with a powerful Smoking Ceremony led by Uncle Alex Nean, followed by a ceremonial song and dance by invited guest Jordyn Roberts and Aboriginal Education Officer Mia Robertson. Students proudly led the assembly with powerful performances, choreographed by Zoe Doyle and Trinity Martin.
This year’s celebration was dedicated to the late Aunty Louise Campbell, whose legacy has touched generations across the St Paul’s school community. To honour her life and the lasting impact she had on young people, St Paul’s proudly welcomed its Pathway schools to share in celebration.
The celebrations continued with music, sport and a community sausage sizzle, raising funds for Muludja Remote Community School.
