The Annual Diocesan Theatresports competition was held at Trinity Catholic College on Thursday March 6. Young thespians from seven of our secondary schools met to compete to win the coveted Trophy.
After three rounds of Theatresports games that challenged participants to make up stories and scenes on the spot utilising all their creative prowess the overall winner was crowned St Joseph’s College, Lochinvar for the third year in a row!
Of course, the real winner on the day was drama itself with students enjoying the opportunity to perform in a safe supportive environment where failure is embraced and being silly and making big choices is applauded.
Thanks to all the students who took part in the day as both performers and audience members and a huge shout out to the wonderful drama teachers who support this event and prepare their students for the games.
