St Nicholas OOSH Summer Vacation Care has services operating just before the Christmas break and right through January supporting parents with out-of-school-hours care needs over this period.
Here are some of the highlights coming up across St Nicholas OOSH:
- The great gingerbread build – come along and be part of the excitement leading up to Christmas. Get ready for a day of sweet creativity – assemble and decorate your very own gingerbread house, complete with icing, lollies and festive fun. Take home your edible creation to share!
- Pamper Day – it’s time to relax and unwind! Children will enjoy a soothing day of self-care with activities like mini facials, nail painting, calming crafts, and quiet chillout spaces. A peaceful, feel-good day designed to help everyone recharge and feel special.
- Mindful Me – take a deep breath and enjoy a calm, creative day focused on feeling good inside and out. We’ll stretch with yoga and learn fun ways to keep our minds and bodies happy. A perfect day to relax, recharge, and be kind to yourself and others.
- Minute to Win It – let the games begin! Children will take on a series of fast-paced, timed challenges – both solo and in teams – for a day full of laughter, friendly competition, and the chance to win fun prizes.
- Jeopardy and Boardgames – a day full of puzzles, trivia, and friendly competition. Children will work in teams to answer challenges in a Jeopardy-style quiz and enjoy a range of classic board games. This day encourages critical thinking, strategy, and lots of laughter.
- LEGO Masters Day – join us for LEGO Masters Day, where children will compete in fun building challenges, unleash their creativity, and build their own LEGO set to take home! A full day of imagination, teamwork, and hands-on fun.
- Milkshakes and Masterpieces – unlock your inner painter whilst indulging on delicious refreshments. This blend of creativity and tasty fun is the perfect environment to construct an artistic masterpiece.
- K-Pop Demon Hunters Disco – we’ll turn up the energy with non-stop K-Pop hits, including epic tracks like Black Pink, BTS, K-Pop Demon Hunters and much more and show their best moves and sing their hearts out. Come dressed up as your favourite K-Pop Demon Hunter Character.
- Sensory Fear Factor – are you brave enough to try the Sensory Fear Factor challenge? Children will test their senses with mystery textures, surprising smells, wacky tastes, and daring games in a safe, silly, and super fun adventure that’s all about being bold and curious!
- Kidchella – a festival-inspired day where children sing, dance, and celebrate with glitter, temporary tattoos, and more. Vesta Entertainment joins for a glow party disco, creating an inclusive experience that builds confidence and joy in a lively group atmosphere.
- Colour and water run – prepare to get messy and cool off! Children will take part in colourful outdoor games and water play. They’ll enjoy obstacle courses, relay races, and water balloon fun.
- New Year’s Resolution Day – a magical day filled with dream jars, dream catchers, vision boards and creating a MEGA OOSH time capsule!! Let’s create dreams, inspiring creativity and goal-setting together.
