Students can audition for ASPIRE, receive keyboard lessons, join the school choir, enter art competitions and perform in the annual school musical.
Holy Cross students are also involved in learning activities that lie beyond the school grounds including interschool sporting competitions, debating, the Premier's Reading Challenge and other academic competitions.

The Visual Arts Centre provides a unique working space for students to design, create and construct artworks of various mediums and features open-ended areas including a tinker workbench, an invitation to draw, puppetry and theatre, socio-dramatic props and furnishings and a nature area complete with magnifying glasses and microscopes. These flexible and intentionally developed learning environments encourage innovative thinking and collaboration and allow students to increase readiness for and engagement in learning.
Holy Cross has a well established OOSH program that provides before and after school care for students. OOSH is run daily by school staff from 7am to 8.30am in the morning and 3pm to 6pm in the afternoon.
