Coaching Support

Coaching encourages, stretches, and pushes others to take responsibility for their development, set goals, take action and grow (AITSL website).

Coaching support is available for teachers seeking a leadership pathway, middle leaders, assistant principals, RECs/MCs and all principals.

The role of coaches is to build the capacity of our leaders in developing the mindset and capabilities that result in leading effective organisational cohesion, innovation, and improved learner outcomes. Through engaging in coaching, leaders develop healthy and sustainable leadership practices that include strategies to ensure positive wellbeing as they navigate the demands of their roles.

At the core of the Leadership Coaching Program is the desire to further build the collective efficacy and shared commitment of all school leaders in positively influencing student outcomes.

Coaches serve as a trusted critical friend and co-learner with colleagues. They are highly proficient and experienced educational leaders who possess a high level of professional competency across a range of key areas and a demonstrated record of excellence in leading school improvement.

Coaches can also support staff in identifying, tracking and evaluating progress towards their PP&D goals and personalised professional leadership goals (PPLP), and career pathway mapping.
