Middle Leaders Program

The Middle Leaders Program recognises and celebrates the critical role our middle leaders hold in leading improvement and innovation through building the capacity of their teams and colleagues. Our middle leaders are exemplary classroom practitioners with evolving teaching and learning practices that ensure improved learning, wellbeing and formation outcomes for all our learners.

The courses are designed to support individuals who are aspiring to be leaders, those in the first three years of appointment to leadership, existing middle leaders and those aspiring to principalship. It is intended that participants will become confident, leading activators of learning, collaboration and change in their schools while at the same time developing a professional network dedicated to ongoing improvement of learner outcomes through impactful middle leadership.

The program is designed to support the responsibilities of middle leaders; focusing on the mindset and behaviours of effective and authentic leadership underpinned by the Leadership Framework and mapped against the APST Highly Accomplished Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
